Never Display a Wedding Photo in Your Room

If the image has a head, it is ordered to be removed.



Moment of marriage is not to be a forgotten memory just like that. Because of that many couples who even hang up her wedding photos in the living room and even the room.


Did you know that it is not recommended! Because of the bad consequences in the following hadith.


Quoting rumaysho.com, in various traditions it is forbidden for us to display images of animate beings. This prohibited image is a human or animal image, not a stone image, a tree and other images that have no spirit.


If the image has a head, it is ordered to be removed. Because the head is the core so that the picture can be said to have a soul or life. In order to more clearly note in advance the hadiths that explain it.


In the hadith muttafaqun 'alaih mentioned that the Messenger of Allaah' alaihi wa sallam said,


إن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتا فيه صورة


"The angels will not enter the house with the image in it (ie the image of animate living beings)" (Narrated by Bukhari 3224 and Muslim No. 2106)

Other Prohibitions are


Hadith Jabir radhiyallahu 'anhu he said,


نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الصور في البيت ونهى أن يصنع ذلك


"Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam forbade the image in the house and he forbade to make a picture." (Narrated by Tirmizi no 1749 and he said that this hadeeth is hasan shahih)


Hadith Ali ibn Abi Talib radhiyallahu anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to him,


أن لا تدع تمثالا إلا طمسته ولا قبرا مشرفا إلا سويته


"Do not let any images unless you remove them and not the elevated grave unless you flatten them." (Narrated by Muslim No. 969)


In An-Nasai's narration,


ولا صورة في بيت إلا طمستها


"And neither the image in the house unless you remove it." (Narrated An Nasai no. 2031. Shaykh Al-Albani says that this hadeeth is saheeh)


From Ibn Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhuma he said,


أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لما رأى الصور في البيت يعني الكعبة لم يدخل وأمر بها فمحيت ورأى إبراهيم وإسماعيل عليهما السلام بأيديهما الأزلام فقال قاتلهم الله والله ما استقسما بالأزلام قط


"That when the Prophet saw the picture on the wall of the Kaaba, he did not enter into it and he ordered that all the images be removed. He saw the image of Prophet Ibrahim and Ismael 'alaihimas while holding an arrow (to draw fate), then he said, "May Allah destroy them, for Allah's sake they never cast fate with arrows. "(Ahmad 1/365) Shaykh Syu'aib Al-Arnauth said that this hadith sanah is according to the conditions of Bukhari and his narration of tsiqoh, including Bukhari Muslim perowi besides' Ikrimah which only becomes narrated by Bukhari)



'Aisha radhiyallahu' anha said, Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam entered my house while I just closed my house with a curtain to which there are pictures. When he saw it, his face changed (angry) then pulled the curtain draw to break.


Then he said,


إن من أشد الناس عذابا يوم القيامة الذين يشبهون بخلق الله


"Truly the most severe man of his torment on the Day of Resurrection is those who are the creatures of Allah" (Narrated by Bukhari 5954 and Muslim No. 2107 and this is the Muslim lafazh).


In Muslim history,


أنها نصبت سترا فيه تصاوير فدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فنزعه, قالت: فقطعته وسادتين


"He (Aisha) put a curtain on which there are pictures, then the Messenger of Allah entered and pulled it out. He said, "So I cut the curtain and I made two pillows from him."


From Ali radhiyallahu anhu, he said,


صنعت طعاما فدعوت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فجاء فدخل فرأى سترا فيه تصاوير فخرج. وقال: إن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتا فيه تصاوير


"I made food and invited the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to come. When he came and went into the house, he saw a picture curtain, so he came out saying, "Surely the angels will not enter the house in which there are pictures." (Narrated by An-Nasai no. 5351. Shaikh Al-Albani said that this hadeeth is saheeh)


From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu he said,


استأذن جبريل عليه السلام على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: «ادخل». فقال: «كيف أدخل وفي بيتك ستر فيه تصاوير فإما الملائكة لا ندخل بيتا فيه تصاوي
