How To Get Rid Of Internet Connection And WiFi Off When The Screen Locks In Lenovo PhonesI am an Android phone user of Lenovo brand with A850 series. This phone I use to serve customer inquiries (customer service) with LINE and WhatsaApp applications. The internet connection I use is a WiFi connection only.
The problem is on the Android phone type Lenovo when the position of stand-by or screen locked, internet connection die so messages or questions from new customers I can open after the screen opens.
Often messages come in late because I rarely open if there is no incoming message notification. It seems that this problem does not just happen in Lenovo brand phones.
Other brands like Oppo have the same settings or default settings (default). Even for several Asus brand types also exist. For the Samsung brand it looks like this default feature does not exist because the 3 Android phones I've used do not use this feature. The purpose of this feature is actually to save battery usage while saving the use of data packets.
So if the phone is off the data will not be wasted. This of course will be inconvenient if used for customer service. Here's how to resolve internet connection and WiFi off when screen locks on Lenovo phones and other Android types.
Please go to the Settings menu on your Lenovo phone search the WiFi menu if using a WiFi connection and select on Data connection if connection is from the card provider. My example right here is a WiFi connection.
Select the menu Next to the Home button then please select the Advanced menu. Look at the picture below for more details.
Please continue by pressing on the menu Continue to turn on WLAN while in sleep mode description see picture below.
There are 4 options like in the picture below. If in the factory setting position there is no Never. Please select the Always option, just move it in the circle position beside Always writing.
The process is complete. For Data connection the same way as above. Please select on Data connection menu. For other brand Android phones may be slightly different, if the above way can not please convey in the comment field also include the brand of Android phone. Good luck.
